Completed demolition and reconfiguration works to existing spaces including decontamination, endoscopy dirty and clean rooms, loan room, clean room and collections areas to improve workflow and departmental capacity.
Installed and integrated specialist sterilisation and processing equipment including 2x automated endoscope reprocessors, decontamination sink stations, ultrasonic cleaners and dental cleaning equipment, with dedicated RO water services and compliant processing environments.
Delivered new and upgraded clinical spaces with clear separation of dirty and clean workflows, incorporating unidirectional processing zones, touch-free access, stainless steel workstations and integrated PC/data infrastructure to support tracking systems.
Undertook modifications to existing HVAC, fire protection and hydraulic systems to meet compliance requirements, including controlled airflow regimes, temperature separation and validated water quality for instrument reprocessing.
Executed all works under strict infection prevention and control protocols, including full hoarding, air monitoring, contained work zones and staged service isolations – with daily inspections – to ensure patient and staff safety within the live hospital environment.
Completed associated fitout works including partitions, ceilings, finishes, joinery and make good, with full commissioning, testing and integration into existing hospital services.
All works were delivered in accordance with relevant Australian Standards, supported by comprehensive QA, staged commissioning and close coordination with hospital operations to minimise disruption.
