St James the Great Church expansion and refurbishment

Construction of a new parish centre with feature entry, commercial kitchen and café area, plus roofing works and refurbishment to the existing auditorium.

The construction process was delivered through a highly controlled and coordinated approach during COVID-19 restrictions and lockdowns, encompassing staged demolition, site preparation and new building works, with strict site management protocols to protect adjacent assets, maintain safety and ensure minimal disruption to weekly services.

Robust environmental and safety measures—including dust suppression, debris containment, and compliant hazardous material handling—were implemented alongside rigorous quality assurance, ensuring all works met Australian Standards, regulatory requirements and the highest construction benchmarks.

The outcome is a high-quality, fully compliant community facility characterised by durable materials, precise workmanship and carefully integrated building systems, underpinned by detailed documentation, thorough inspections and long-term warranties—delivering a clean, defect-free and operationally ready environment at completion.
