The works incorporated full internal fitout, including moisture‑resistant and healthcare-compliant finishes, built-in joinery, fixtures and fittings, and services integration, with particular attention to accessibility, infection control, and anti‑ligature and tamper-resistant requirements applicable to mental health environments.
The project also included a comprehensive redevelopment of the external areas, delivering a safe and therapeutic outdoor environment.
Works comprised new landscaping, timber/composite decking, planter boxes, fencing and gates, soft-fall paving, and shade sail structures. These elements were designed and constructed to meet durability, slip-resistance, and weather performance requirements, while ensuring compliance with relevant Australian Standards and healthcare facility guidelines. The external works were fully coordinated with drainage, services, and existing site features, enhancing accessibility, usability, and patient wellbeing.
